# Welcome to Geo Platform Docs

When someone asks ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Perplexity, Claude, or Gemini questions about businesses like yours, does your brand show up in the answer?

The platform helps you find out, and gives you the tools to improve.

## What the Platform Does

The platform monitors how AI search engines talk about your brand. Every day, it sends real search queries to the major AI platforms and checks:

* **Does the AI mention your brand by name?** When someone asks for recommendations in your category, is your business in the answer?
* **Does it link to your website?** AI answers often include citations, and the platform detects whether yours is among them.
* **Does it show you on the map?** Google AI Mode and AI Overviews sometimes display a map with places. We check if your business appears there.
* **How do you compare to competitors?** Your Share of Voice score tells you what percentage of relevant queries feature your brand versus others in your market.

Based on all of this, the platform gives you clear, actionable recommendations to strengthen your presence in AI-generated answers.
