Choosing Good Prompts
Think about what a potential guest would actually ask an AI assistant. For example:- “Best luxury hotels in Barcelona”
- “Where to stay near Central Park New York”
- “Family-friendly resorts in the Maldives”
- “Hotels with rooftop pools in London”
Intent Types
Every prompt has an intent type that categorizes what the searcher is looking for. This helps you analyze your visibility across different stages of the traveler’s journey.- Branded, prompts that include your brand name (e.g., “Grand Hotel Paris reviews”). These show how AI handles direct searches for your property.
- Non-branded, generic prompts where your brand is not mentioned (e.g., “best hotels in Paris”). These reveal whether AI recommends you organically.
- Informational, prompts seeking general knowledge (e.g., “things to do in Rome”). These show whether your destination or property appears in broader travel content.
- Transactional, prompts with booking intent (e.g., “book a hotel near the Louvre”). These indicate whether AI directs ready-to-book travelers toward you.
Locale and Location
Each prompt can be associated with a locale and location. These settings affect which version of AI results the system retrieves. For example, a prompt tracked in the “en-US” locale from a US location will return different AI responses than the same prompt tracked in “fr-FR” from France. This is important if your guests come from specific markets, you want to see what AI tells them in their language and region.Importing Prompts via CSV
If you have a large list of prompts, you do not need to add them one by one. The platform supports CSV import so you can upload an entire list at once. This is especially useful during initial setup or when expanding into new markets. Click Import CSV, then Download CSV Template. The template has fixed column headings:Keep the template’s column headings exactly as they are. There is no column-mapping step during import, the file is read against those headings.
How Tracking Works
Once your prompts are saved, you start a tracking run yourself, either from the Prompts page or from the Run Tracking page. Tracking is not automatic and does not happen daily: each plan includes an allowance of tracking runs per billing month, shown on the pricing page, and you decide when to spend them. Each run:- Sends your prompts to the configured AI platforms
- Captures the full AI-generated response
- Analyzes whether your properties are mentioned, cited, or shown on a map
- Updates your Share of Voice score based on the results
